Strategy

Our initial strategy was to go towards the enemy side and collect the first ball, by ramming it aginst the forward wall. After swallowing the ball, we would back to the line, wall follow to get the second ball. If the center ball was on the enemy side, our bot, which had a 8" mouth, would be able to fit boththe second and third ball. Afterwards, we would back up halfway on the line, do a hard left 90 degree turn and would now be facing the hill. Scorpio wold then run full steam torwads the hill, while extending its arm-o-death, which was meant to push any ball on the hill, or guide a falling ball towards out home side. If the enemy bot did not initially push the center ball, the arm-odeath would push it, along with the 20-seconds ball. At 40 seconds, the top ball would fall and be guided towards our home side. In case that the enemy bot got the center ball, our bot would have picked it up. At the 45 seconds mark, we would high-tail it to our side, with 2-3 balls inside the car. Chances are that at least one of the 2 other balls that fell off the hill would be still there, since one was knocked by us at the 40 second mark. As you see, this strategy is very complicated, which was its downfall. While most of was implemented, most of it ended up being hardwired due to time constraints
