As the great contest to determine the Master of the Universe drew near, the Gowa Robot Clan decided that they would take the crown this year. While other Clans dabbled in the Dark Arts of Pushing and Collecting, the Gowas enlisted the help of Ken The Happy Slave Boy to come up with a new breed of robot that would conquer the masses of mindless drones.

Ken was a skilled engineer, having graduated from a little known technology institute on Mars after running away from his old home, the Samurai Tennis Warriors Club. He worked day and night on programming the Handy Board that would become the heart of zekrit ninja phatapult but his childhood traumas kept coming back to haunt him. He tried to deny his past and that there was no such thing as Te-ni-su. But slowly, as he became more and more sleep deprived he went mad. His subordinates never saw it coming. He seemed to be the same jolly programmer but he started to juggle for hours at a time. The balls kept circling over and over and over and slowly he decided that he would create an unstoppable killing machine.

Ken ripped out all the wiring that had been done and started anew. He threw playing cards with deadly accuracy at anyone who got in his way. He was mad, madder than a cow that has been told it has 2 hours to live, madder than a tennis player who trips on his shoelace, madder than a MIT student who attempts to comprehend the meaning of deadlines.

So Ken turned the innocent DeathMachine into the Phatapult, using his zekrit ninja knowledge passed down from a time long since forgotten by robot He managed to fool his robot masters into believing that his robot was merely a "collector", scooping up balls and carrying them for the glory of the Gowas. Into the Handy Board, however, he programmed elite hacker code that drew down the arm and prepared the catapult. The robot grew more and more insidious as time went on...
By the time the competition drew near, the robot was a towering red menace. Ken was insane now, but he was happy, freed from the memories of his horrible past and enlightened with the power of the phatapult. The loading mechanism had gone green and there were wire criscrossing the board.
The secret could not be kept, so Ken The Insane Happy Slave Boy went to the Gowas and revealed his plans by throwing papers all over their meeting room.He jumped out the window and fell onto the roof of zekrit ninja phatapult and lived phattly ever after.
