Mock Competition:

We didn’t join because we were not ready to with the code, but here’s a pic:

Seeding Competition:

Only 20 + teams joined, we won our two matches—the first vs. a the brick and the 2^nd vs. team 51 (I think). Total we got 6 points, tying for 5^th place.

Qualifying Competition:

We got lucky!!! We got 3 points by chance we missed one of the red balls, but got stuck by turning in circles in front of the voting area… -.-;;

FINALS COMPETITION:

We were very lucky and got to the top 4. Our handboard power was low because it was on slow charge between rounds so Z actually volunteered to do a magic trick so we had 5 minutes to charge up. Our robot did not do anything it was suppose to and yet won. A list of some events follows:

1) we put 2 of the 4 balls at the beginning in, it was the losing color until we voted to make it the winning color!

2) We went the wrong direction at 10 seconds left and almost scored for the opponent EXCEPT the opponent’s robot was at their own area so we couldn’t

3) We got stuck with one of our opponents in the middle of the battlefield and won because they only put in 3 of the balls, and they got 1 pt while we got 2 pt.

4) Somehow, the opponent put in the wrong color balls in their own scoring area….. so we won.. or else we would have lost.

5) We finally LOST to the same team the same way when our robot was ACTUALLY doing what it was suppose to do!
