One really cool thing about Picasso Bot is that it uses a spinning rubber band mechanism to pick up balls, and spits them out nicely by turning the other way. Originally, Picasso Bot had a servo attached to the arms of the rubber band mechanism to lift it up when it wanted to shoot the balls out. Instead, we decided to make it turn the other direction for the balls to come out.
