Legovich
Our robot, Legovich, is one nasty piece of work.
Legovich has a fairly impressive pedigree. His motherboard is said to have been hand-soldered by a guy who once got hit with some of Shaquille O'Neal's sweat at a Lakers game. It's also rumored that Legovich's parts contain recycled plastic from Michael Jackson's facial alterations.
Legovich is equipped with a lever depressor mounted on a continuous rotation servo. He utilizes contact sensors on the front and back of his chassis, and a servo-gated hopper that is graded throughout his body. What really sets Legovich apart is his "chainsaw arm"--that is, the variable length chain-linked appendage that swings from his side to spin the gearboxes of the 6.270 playing field.
Legovich is all about style and class, and so Team 8 installed an LED array on Legovich's canopy that displays state information, which is useful for general debugging and making a light blink back and forth like KITT from Knight Rider.
