The Moment - 2nd Place

No one knew what was going to happen. The day of the contest, we were all dreams and perseverance and perspiration. Everything happened so quickly, and then Arthur jumped on me, and the first round robin was over.

It was a tie! It was the best we could hope for after the initial loss to the evential champions Paco Lopez. Was the electrical tape still on? Arthur had the idea of putting electrical tape over the distance sensors to shield them from the bright lights, lights too bright for so simple and elegant a Gold Chain (see: the Gold Chain).

It was still on. We didn't know what went wrong. The round robin repeated, and our results were the same. Good enough for second. Overjoyed? We were happy and sad at the same time. And all that was left was our robot and the butchered quotes in the Tech.

Page sixteen, baby. Page sixteen.
