When writing our code, we strictly followed the coding standards that Matt developed to enhance synergy in our active, team-oriented environment. He even enumerated them for us:

1. Write the code like you're an 8 year old writing his first BASIC program.

This way, it's not such a pain in the ass to figure out if your code has a bug or Julia messed up soldering a joint.
