About Us

We are Team 17 -- Super Sheep II.

We were randomly assigned the number 17 based on when we registered for the class. As luck would have it, though, Team 17 is the name of the company that makes the amazing game Worms Armageddon. Our team name Super Sheep II comes from this game, where the Super Sheep is a fantastic weapon consisting of a flying, exploding sheep that is thrown. As a team, we also have a sweet set of matching shoes (see webpage banner), an Adidas line called "Super Star II". Combine the shoes with the game, and our team name is born.

And now it's time to meet the members.

Trevor

Trevor, a freshman hottie from North Carolina, did most of the building. Nicknamed "T-bone" for his love of steak, this wunderkind could handle with ease any challenge thrown his way. Not content with simply constructing a flawless robot, he had to look good doing it.

Kris

Kris was the brains of the operation. With a brilliant tactician's mind matched in intensity only by his temper, this firecracker conceived of strategies, counter-strategies, counter-counter-strategies, and beyond. He also soldered, built, and debugged, lending a helping hand whenever it was needed, all while keeping the team on track and motivated.

Gabe

Course 18 for a reason, Gabe has a distate for the physical. With fingertips faster than the speed of sound, sonic booms follow him wherever he takes his laptop, making him an exteremely unpleasant person to work near. Overcoming the challenges presented both by 6.270 and loneliness, he provided 80% of the functional--and 100% of the dysfunctional--code for the robot.
